AMPAS - Unlocking real potential

Our goal was to create a new identity that brought the spotlight back to the Academy, placing the most emphasis on the organization and allowing the Oscars, future Museum, and other programs to exist as parts of that organization. Our simple solution was to shift the spotlight from behind the Oscars statuette to above it, creating an triangular 'A' shape linked to the A of Academy. This visual concept then led to an entire visual language with endless creative possibilities.
